Crossroads of Europe, Crossroads of the World -

 

Step into the crossroads of the world where East meets West—where "global" becomes "local."

Crossroads of Europe, Crossroads of the World is a unique opportunity to delve into the historical, socio-cultural, and political role of Hungary in Central Europe and the rest of the word. The Crossroads program is a special set of classes and experiential learning opportunities.

Highlights include:

  • Internships and volunteer opportunities at organizations, such as Migrants' Help
  • Study tours, to places like Austria and the Czech Republic
  • Class field-trips, to places like the wine region of Hungary
  • World-class faculty
  • Peer mentors from around the world

Students may take two or three of the Crossroads classes offered each semester, and pick additional classes to round out their study experience

 

Fall Crossroads:

  • Illusory Frontiers: Changing Political, Cultural, and Mental Borders in the Heart of Europe in the Modern Era
  • Garden to Table: Food, History, and Culture in Central Europe
  • On the Move: Migration and Security in Europe
